Every holiday season, Olvera Street celebrates the Mexican-Catholic Christmas tradition of Las Posadas, which is a nine day re-enactment of Joseph and Mary's search for a place to stay. A religious ceremony and pinata breaking follows.

We will have our first step family outing! (this is a great opportunity for our kids to meet others going through similar issues as well as adults learning to bond and have fun!)
Join us for fun and learning at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. We will meet at the front doors at 11am. Admission is Free however they do take donations if you can. Parking is usually about $8.00 per car for the day. There are activities for kids of all ages, including the really young up to those tough to please teens.
This is our first opportunity to come together and start to meet others who go through the same or similar issues as a stepfamily. Supporting each other is vital to keeping our families together, so please join us.
There is a McDonalds on site as well as small concessions. If you prefer to bring a picnic lunch there are plenty of covered areas to sit and have a meal.
